Discover the capital of Egypt over two unforgettable days and immerse yourself in a city where thousands of years of history blend seamlessly with the vibrant rhythm of a modern metropolis. This tour is designed for travelers who want to experience Cairo’s most iconic landmarks, appreciate its impressive scale, and gain a deeper understanding of Egypt’s rich cultural heritage.
On the first day, you will encounter the magnificent legacy of ancient civilization. The program includes a visit to the legendary Egyptian Museum, a scenic cruise along the majestic Nile River, and exploration of Egypt’s most famous symbols — the Giza Pyramids and the mysterious Great Sphinx. You will step into the world of the pharaohs and witness monuments that have inspired awe for thousands of years.
The second day is dedicated to Islamic and Coptic Cairo. You will visit the impressive Citadel of Saladin, stroll through the historic quarters of Old Cairo where Christian, Islamic, and Jewish landmarks stand side by side, and conclude your journey at the famous Khan El Khalili Bazaar, a vibrant marketplace that has preserved its medieval atmosphere since the 14th century.
This two-day program allows you to explore Cairo at a comfortable pace, see more than a standard day trip offers, and gain a complete impression of the city of pharaohs, sultans, and modern Egypt. Below, you will find a detailed description of each stage of the itinerary.
Dear guests, please carefully review the following information before booking:
A valid Egyptian visa is mandatory for travel to Cairo. Your passport must contain a visa sticker with an entry stamp. The visa costs 30 USD and can be purchased upon arrival at the airport in Egypt. The visa fee is not included in the tour price.
Travelers holding passports from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan must obtain a visa in advance in their home country and provide a guarantee letter from a travel company.
If you do not have a visa, assistance with obtaining one may be arranged through the guide before departure for an additional fee of 37 USD.
This program includes a visit to the Old Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. If you prefer a program that includes the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), please contact us for further details.
Payment is made directly to the guide upon boarding the bus. Payment can be made in cash or by bank card (a service fee applies for card payments).
The excursion date must be booked in advance by contacting us.
Hotel pickup may be arranged by minivan with a transfer to a large, comfortable tourist bus to optimize time and ensure smoother organization of the trip.

Air conditioning operates year-round, including during winter. We recommend bringing warm clothing, a light blanket or shawl, and a travel pillow for additional comfort.
One scheduled stop is provided during the journey for restroom use and refreshments. Please take this into account when planning.

The route follows the new, shorter toll highway, ensuring a smoother and more efficient journey.
Travel time to Cairo is approximately 8 hours, including security checkpoint stops.
During the journey, there will be one scheduled stop at a well-equipped roadside café with restrooms, where you may relax and purchase snacks or hot drinks if desired.
Arrival in Cairo is expected around 08:00–08:30 AM, after which the экскурсионная программа begins.
The first stop in Cairo is the world-famous Egyptian Museum, located in the heart of the city at historic Tahrir Square.
This iconic museum houses one of the most important collections of ancient artifacts in the world, spanning thousands of years of Egyptian civilization. Inside its grand halls, you will discover:
Monumental statues of powerful pharaohs
Remarkably preserved mummies
Ancient sarcophagi and papyri
Jewelry, treasures, and priceless historical relics
Accompanied by a professional Egyptologist guide, you will gain insight into the daily life, beliefs, burial rituals, and dynasties of Ancient Egypt.
This visit provides essential historical context before exploring the Giza Pyramids later in the program and is considered a cornerstone of any comprehensive Cairo tour.
During the second stop, guests may choose to enjoy a relaxing boat ride along the legendary Nile aboard a traditional felucca.
Duration: up to 45 minutes
Price: approximately 10–20 USD per person (paid on site)
Experience: peaceful sailing with scenic Nile views away from the city noise
Guests who prefer not to join the cruise may remain on the bus or nearby, in accordance with Cairo tourist police regulations.
After the Nile stop, the group will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
A typical menu includes:
Rice
Grilled chicken
Fresh salads
Traditional Egyptian bread and sauces
Drinks are not included and are charged separately.
Following lunch, the group will visit:
A Papyrus Institute, where you will learn about the ancient techniques used to produce papyrus paper.
A perfume and essential oils factory featuring natural aromatic oils and locally made souvenirs.
The total duration of the shopping stops is approximately 40 minutes.
The highlight and grand finale of the first day is a visit to the legendary Giza Pyramids — home to Egypt’s most iconic monuments and one of the most extraordinary archaeological sites in the world.
The Giza Necropolis includes:
The Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops) — originally standing at approximately 140 meters high and over 4,500 years old, it remains the only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World.
The Pyramid of Khafre — slightly smaller but appearing taller due to its elevated foundation and the remaining limestone casing near its summit.
The Pyramid of Menkaure — the smallest and southernmost of the three main pyramids.
In addition to the principal pyramids, you will also see:
The Queens’ Pyramids
Valley temples and mortuary complexes
Smaller subsidiary (satellite) pyramids
Originally, the pyramids were covered in polished white limestone that reflected sunlight brilliantly, making them shine across the desert. Over the centuries, much of this outer casing was removed and reused in later construction projects throughout Cairo.
The tour continues with a visit to the legendary Great Sphinx of Giza, the oldest surviving monumental sculpture in the world.
Length: 73 meters
Height: 20 meters
Material: carved from a single block of limestone bedrock
The Sphinx features the body of a lion and the head of a human, widely believed to represent Pharaoh Khafre. A small sanctuary once stood between its massive paws.
The missing nose of the Sphinx has inspired many legends. While some stories attribute the damage to Napoleon’s soldiers, no historical evidence supports this claim.
This unforgettable visit offers breathtaking panoramic views and excellent photo opportunities, allowing you to fully appreciate the scale and mystery of Ancient Egypt.
Entry inside the Great Pyramid of Khufu is optional and not included in the tour price.
Ticket price: approximately 30 USD (around 1500 EGP), payable on site.
Payment is accepted in Egyptian pounds only.
The tour program finishes at approximately 5:00 PM.
Afterward, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo for check-in, dinner, and free time at your leisure.
After breakfast at the hotel, we continue exploring Egypt’s dynamic capital and head to the district of Old Cairo — an area where the political, religious, and cultural history of the country has been shaped for centuries.
This impressive 12th-century fortress was built by Sultan Salah ad-Din (Saladin) to protect the city from Crusader invasions. For centuries, it served as the seat of Egypt’s rulers and remains one of Cairo’s most significant historical landmarks.
From the citadel grounds, visitors enjoy some of the finest panoramic views over the city.
The visit includes:
Mosque of Muhammad Ali — the magnificent 19th-century Alabaster Mosque, an architectural symbol of Cairo whose domes and slender minarets dominate the skyline.
The Mosque of Al-Nasir Muhammad — a remarkable example of 14th-century Mamluk architecture.
The Military Museums located within the fortress complex.
Old Cairo is a unique historic district where Christian, Islamic, and Jewish landmarks stand side by side, reflecting centuries of coexistence and cultural exchange.
Key highlights of this part of the tour include:
Hanging Church — one of the oldest Coptic churches in Egypt (3rd–4th century), built above the Roman gates of the ancient Babylon Fortress.
Church of Saints Sergius and Bacchus — traditionally believed to have sheltered the Holy Family during their time in Egypt.
Ben Ezra Synagogue — a historic synagogue connected to Cairo’s rich Jewish heritage.
Mosque of Amr ibn al-As — the first mosque built in Egypt in the 7th century following the Arab conquest.
This remarkable area offers a rare opportunity to witness how diverse religious communities have coexisted within the same neighborhood for generations.
After the morning sightseeing, guests will enjoy lunch at a restaurant in the city center in buffet format.
The buffet features a selection of Egyptian and international dishes, including hot meals, fresh salads, and desserts.
The sightseeing program in Cairo concludes at approximately 4:00–5:00 PM, after which we begin the return journey to Sharm El Sheikh.
Estimated arrival at your hotel is around 1:00–1:30 AM, depending on traffic conditions and the time required to pass security checkpoints.
During the return trip, one scheduled stop will be made for restroom use and a short rest break.

Being properly prepared will help ensure your journey is as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
